    Great article, Lewis.

We’ve hit exactly the same problem when tried to change UPNs to match Exchange online schema and found out that it breaks our wireless pki.

Can the O365 login be different from the primary address when using dirsync?

It can be any identifying attribute that the user object has and which you can register and verify a matching domain for in Azure AD. 99 times out of 100, this will be the userPrincipalName or mail attribute since those are the values that users will understand and that can likely have an associated domain in Azure AD. Your question though is quite inclusive, so if you let me know what you’re trying to achieve, I might be able to advise better. ?
