Nokia Mobile Search
It looks like Nokia have released a new free application for we Series 60 owners called Mobile Search allowing you to search the web for images and information aswell as your local area for just about anything including Taxis, Cinemas, you name it! Apparently it changes the service providers when you travel around the world too. Yell.com is used in the UK for instance. The whole portal is pretty smart too, allowing you to call phone numbers and even show Navteq maps of the area…
Once the application is installed it’s a simple matter of starting it up. I tend to move my icons around so that’s why it’s in a folder called Web. The application is installed into the root menu by default.
There’s four different types of search you can do, I only show two here, the others are the MEDIO content search and a Yahoo! image search.
Select the one you want. If you press send here you’ll call the given number.
And finally, maps! Not just any old maps but Navteq maps. How cool is that then?

I found another interesting page for Nokia 6680 handset owners aswell, though I guess these applications can be installed on other Series 60 phones too?: Nokia 6680 Software as bundled with the phone incase you lose your RS-MMC
