Stalinism to end when Tories in power?
My good god. Finally someone down in Whitehall actually has a clue!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Tory, I find their ilk thoroughly boring but save for any better alternative this guy seems to be talking sense. Unfortunately the article does mention that Bliar (intentionally mis-spelt) said very much the same thing in 1997 so let’s not get too excited.
Reclaiming our towns, villages and cities from the overbearing stalinist approach to government that Bliar and Brown have shown will surely be an election winning policy from the Tories. It’s making sure that they follow up on their policy promises that will be the hard part because, as the article itself mentions, once people get in to power they soon become complacent and are vehemently opposed to relinquishing control.
Prove that you’re not just talking the talk Cameron and you’ll have my vote at the next General Election.
